## What changed

X's 2026-04-16 changelog says Following, Likes and Quote-Posts via the API have been removed from all self-serve tiers (Free, Basic, Pro, pay-per-use), leaving them to Enterprise. POST /2/users/{id}/likes calls with self-serve credentials are rejected; X does not document the status code. Quote-Posts (POST /2/tweets with quote_tweet_id) are also removed but cannot be matched by path.

## What to do

Remove or feature-flag like actions for self-serve apps and surface a clear error to users, or move to an Enterprise agreement. Also drop quote_tweet_id from POST /2/tweets on self-serve keys.
