## What changed

As of Admin API version 2026-10, creating a carrier service with carrierServiceCreate only registers it; Shopify no longer adds it to the General shipping profile, so merchants see no rates from it until it is added to a profile.

## What to do

After creating a carrier service, add its rates to a shipping profile with the delivery profile APIs, or direct merchants to add the carrier-calculated rate in the Shopify admin.
