What changed
Admin API version 2026-01 is accessible until January 16, 2027 15:00 UTC. After that, requests to /admin/api/2026-01/... (REST and GraphQL) and webhooks pinned to 2026-01 fall forward to the oldest accessible stable version without an error, so responses can change shape silently. Every app still pinned to 2026-01 is hit.
What to do
Move the version segment in your Admin API URLs and webhook subscriptions to a supported version (2026-04 or later; 2026-10 is the latest stable), work through the release notes for every version in between, and check the X-Shopify-API-Version response header to confirm Shopify is not falling forward.
