What changed
On 2026-10-23 OpenAI shuts down gpt-3.5-turbo (0125), gpt-4 (0613), gpt-4-1106-preview, gpt-4-turbo, gpt-4.1-nano, gpt-4o-2024-05-13, o1, o1-pro, o3-mini and o4-mini, plus fine-tunes of gpt-3.5-turbo, gpt-4, gpt-4.1-nano and o4-mini. Only calls that send one of these model names (or their aliases) are hit; they fail from then on.
What to do
Search request bodies and config for these model names and switch them: gpt-3.5-turbo and o4-mini to gpt-5.6-terra; gpt-4, gpt-4-1106-preview, gpt-4-turbo, gpt-4o-2024-05-13, o1 and o3-mini to gpt-5.6-sol; o1-pro to gpt-5.6-sol with reasoning.mode: pro; gpt-4.1-nano to gpt-5.6-luna. Re-run fine-tunes on the new base models. The same model names also stop working on the Responses and legacy Completions endpoints.
