## What changed

OpenAI shuts down gpt-4o-2024-08-06, gpt-4o-2024-11-20, gpt-4o-mini-2024-07-18, gpt-4.1-2025-04-14 and gpt-4.1-mini-2025-04-14 on 2027-01-14, and fine-tunes of these models follow the same date. Only calls that send one of these models are hit. The notice lists dated snapshots and does not say what happens to the undated gpt-4o or gpt-4o-mini aliases.

## What to do

Replace these model names with gpt-6-luna (OpenAI's recommended replacement) in request bodies and config, re-run fine-tunes on a supported base model, and compare output quality before 2027-01-14. The same model names are also used on the Responses API.
